It's about some Christian ******, but no one cares about him, so instead everyone uses the day as a reason to drink alcohol. Talk about a lame holiday.

Valentines Day. St Patrick’s is awesome if you go to a festival and the river runs green.
Cinco De Mayo is great for food and fun in the sun.
Memorial Day is a great time to go to beach and relax with the sea creatures.

I don't get why people gather to watch a groundhog see his shadow…other than they don't have anything better to do.
I'd also include Columbus Day…because at some point it was decided that it wasn't politically correct and that he actually didn't discover America.
The singer, Buffy Sainte-Marie, would say that's the day Native Americans discovered Columbus…lol
Now it's called Discovery Day.
Not a totally pointless holiday, but it shouldn't be a Federal Holiday - there are too many as it is.
