<p dir="auto">Yeah, have heard of him. One of the new age Bong director, Birsa Dasgupta, was probably named after him. People in Bengal do look upto him.<br />

Here we have a nice confluence of Christian missionary activity, the Raj and tribal rights. I'm sure a decent film is hidden in there somewhere.<br />
Even today, the confluence of Indian crony capitalism and tribal rights is a battleground, and a sad state of affairs.</p>
