Talks about faith and conscience in the state of war through it's protagonist. Based on a true story. It feels like a Clint Eastwood directed film in parts which were a bit corny but for most of the run time it is still a Mel Gibson film. Brutal and raw film making. Liked it.
Andrew Garfield did a great job. Gibson shows that he still has it in him.
P.S: the screening I went to had a 'Smoking kills' tag in the corner side for all the run time. Ridiculous and totally off putting. Good lord do we really need this? have we come this far in stupidity? Why would you put a 'Smoking Kills' tag if a non-smoking scene is playing?
Make a move, Reindeer Games..

A bit too much time spent on his love story.
Agreed. Should've trimmed that part a bit and focused on the man's beliefs which makes up for a really complex character.

Not surprised. Gibson is a legend. I don't care what anyone says about him.Apocalypto is a masterpiece. Give him that 200 million dollar to make his Viking film. That is art.
