Of late, I have been watching interviews of Salim Khan on a loop, and have become addicted to him. He speaks straight from the heart, and comes across as a down to earth person with strong conviction in his ideas. His narrative style is anecdotal, which makes him both thoroughly enjoyable and extremely enlightening.
" You should never underestimate the predictability of human stupidity."

Good to know that I am not the only one hooked to Guftagoo. That series is simply great.
In fact, my infatuation with Salim Khan started after watching tgat episode. Then I watched many of his interviews, with Rajiv Masand, on Boss Dialogues, and on various news channels.
There was a time when even I used to think that the success of the duo was because of Javed, but not anymore. Salim Khan is a very engrossing storyteller, his anecdotal style seems to be a continuation of the 'kissagoh' tradition. He is very well read and also a great observer, which means that he generally substantiates his views with
either a story or a quote, which is both interesting and enlightening. I'm sure Mr Khan was an equal contributor in the duo.

I fully agree. I always thought that Javed was the brighter one amongst the duo and the success was mainly due to him, but I was proven wrong after watching a few of his interviews. Salim is an intelligent, humble and well read man. Have you seen his interview on Rajya Sabha TV Guftagoo? Its really nice.
