<p dir="auto">Whose works did you prefer and why? Both wrote in reasonably lucid language and wrote varied works however were craftsmen in the short stories genre with characters in a simple ordinary folk setting. Who among the two of them did you prefer and why?</p>

<p dir="auto">wow very surprised by the answers here. Thought people would be quite well read especially Vikade and Pimp having not read and man and pitviper not even replied. Their works seems pretty light, accessible and simple. Anyways.</p>

<p dir="auto">I am sure that no one will have a preference when it comes to these two writers. Both of them are equally great, but have very different writing styles.<br />
Bond's writing is  mostly autobiographical and anecdotal. He appeals to the child within us and invoked nostalgia. He is generally not interested in the moral questions related to a story, whereas morality is the crux of most of Narayan' stories.</p>
