I've always been surprised I haven't seen many Spanish movies, especially considering it's one of the most spoken languages, and its a language I can speak (at least getting by with).

That's what it mostly comes down to for me…the movie. If it's got an interesting concept or piques my curiosity, whatever language it's in, I'll watch it. It all depends on the movie.

I just watched the trailer. It looks beautiful. The cinematography is beautiful, the ambiance is breathtaking, and the way the trailer depicted the movie, I can see where not enough of the plot is revealed to make this look incredibly fascinating. i see. it's hard to find a good film from France these days, that's true. the industry seems to be settling on those awful comedies mostly, but there was one from last year which was really great (not a comedy), Portrait of a Lady on Fire.
