I worked at a grocery store a loooong time ago. Those things have been getting stolen forever, mayne.
Where I worked it was mainly college kids stealing them to use for storage or furniture or whatever.
A lot of stores have done away with those baskets completely since they get stolen so much.
Working at a grocery store you see hundreds of people per day. I saw people with weird **** growing off their body, people covered in scabs from using illegal drugs, all kinds of ****. It was a fun job.

Uh, I asked for an explanation on the missing baskets and you gave me some lame reason that they use them to carry groceries. That's bullshit. Bags are hella easier to carry stuff and the supermarket give fools bags. So you're black and you haven't answered why the baskets are missing.

I love seeing dogs in the store. If it's a little dog they're usually in the cart. Service dogs are on a leash
When I was working I looked forward to seeing people bring in their pets and compared to some of the customers, they smelled better and didn't steal

Haven't seen much of it up this way, and I've been to stores all around the area. Sounds like something they would do in Austin though. Electric scooters on the other hand… are every damn where!
But I agree, dogs shouldn't be allowed in grocery stores or anywhere else where food is sold. Those are probably the same people who let their pets lick them in the face and mouth. Yick.
