The vote will take place over the next two months, with those selected by the Hall’s 1,200 voters revealed in April. At that time, further Inductees will also be named who are entering the Hall under three special committee categories: Musical Influence, Musical Excellence and the Ahmet Ertegun Non Performer Award.

Rock singer Chris Robinson, 24, was sentenced to six months' probation when he pleaded no contest to a charge of disturbing the peace during a late-night beer run. The court dismissed an assault charge.
Robinson's group, the Black Crowes, had played a May 29, 1991 concert in Denver, when he went to a 7-Eleven for beer and was turned down because it was after midnight. He allegedly spit on another customer, Elizabeth Juergens, who asked, "Who are the Black Crowes?"
