Oh dont get me wrong, owning an mp3 player in 2020 is a humiliation all on its own, but im talking about the songs on it,
For a fella of my age and culture, the tracks are pretty normal for the most part. Some Oasis, some Eminem, Tiny Tempah, the streets, kid cudi….things like that.
But also, I have a few songs like this for example
Pretty mixed bag right? some of those songs were written years before even my grandparents were born ( I think? ) and seeing as the people likely to rob me are young urban street rats, they would think im some sort of
bender
if they have a listen before swapping it for half a joint.
On that subject of older music, I do think it was kinda better back then, when music was not that common, or just getting started. I mean can you imagine Tennessee Ernie Ford doing a music video wearing skimpy clothing and shaking dat ass? NO! because his music and voice was all he needed.
I ****ing hate this era and the generation that comes with it. Screw it, im going to start funding ISIS. ( And by me, I mean Nettie
