A Very Cellular Song by Incredible String Band is a good song that's super long. (13:09)
Desolation Row by Bob Dylan (11:21)
Darling by Entrance is another good one. (11:14)
Whadda you think?

This is yet another example of what I said yesterday: you know bugger all about most popular music.
You say that as if I should be ashamed. Other than how it sounds, what's to know or care about anyway? I could have the most detailed knowledge imaginable of Sgt. Pepper, but it could never make me like the songs any better. How could it?
No, wrong again; I watched / heard this
a while back &, as expected, it couldn't have been more dull if all the performers were wearing grey.
Anyway, now you've changed ityou've had to concede some ground!now I know bugger all about MOST popular music. How long would my list have had to have been before satisfying you, Mr Music? You keep banging on about how I'm this or that, & ignorant of this or arrogant about that, but failing to see just how holier-than-thou you come across (not to mention humourless). My music tastes cover the best part of 500 years, & that's just classical. As stated I also love jazz, some film music & a whole host of varying pop/rock bands singers& yet my tastes & knowledge are still nothing compared to yours. Most people here have only ever listened to music released in the last 30 yearsyet I'm the ignorant one. What makes your taste so special? Do tell.
It seems as if no knowledge is anything unless it's
your
knowledge - you with the perfect taste; you with the perfect approach not just to listening to music, but to appreciating every facet of it. Your protestations about my taste are rather amusing. So fuqqing what if I don't know all the ins & outs of that shyt album, or indeed any album? You might as well have a go at someone for not knowing about the process of making fast food or confectionery. If I like the taste of it I'll eat it, but I couldn't care any less about it other than that. It's the same with pop - if it pleases the ear then fine, but if it doesn't, why would I bother finding out anything more about it? Knowing what role Vivian Stanshall, whoever he/she is, had in it wouldn't change how I heard it.
It's a shame; I used to think you were quite knowledgeable, that you had good taste in music & were interesting to talk to. I suppose I have to be wrong occasionally

I bet that without looking it up you can't say what traditional folk music form ends it, nor what role Vivian Stanshall played on it. I reckon you gave up on it after a few minutes and guessed that the rest was the same, because anyone who had heard all of it wouldn't be so ignorant. This is yet another example of what I said yesterday: you know bugger all about most popular music.
