My sieve-like memory tends to associate them with Mexican Summer, which they only released one or two records on. Anyway, I'm pretty sure you'd like them.<br />

BC and DDG (and VG) just missed the cut for me. Like I said, my picks are pretty tentative so on any other day.<br />
The little Warpaint I've heard didn't grab me initially. I may have to give them another shot. I know they have a couple of very vocal supporters here.<br />
Liminanas and The Mantles I haven't heard so I'll definitely give them a listen. I'll probably even find the Slumberland leanings a positive.<br />

It has to be said that I like the Mantles in "channelling the Clean" mode, rather than "we want to sign for Slumberland" mode. They divide their time pretty equally between the two. I am at least 75% less indie than I used to be these days, and it shows.<br />
