I've thought he was a great guitarist but had some major personality issues.

He was fine but Ace was the best part of Kiss to me so Vincent coming along kind of ruined that for me. Creatures of the Night is the only Kiss album without Ace that I have any interest in, though.

His name is dangerously close to being redundant.
She's dead, wrapped in plastic.

I think he was a very underrated songwriter. I like Gypsy In Your Eyes, Maybe It's the Rain, My Love Goes With You, Tears, Youngblood and I'm On Fire For You and I heard some of them were originally going to be Kiss songs but the record label refused to put them on the Creatures of the Night album 'cause they were too different.
Gypsy In Your Eyes could have been a big hit.

Overrated songwriter (within Kiss world), terrible guitarist, and an ugly personality. Overall a tragic figure.

I loved his first solo album when it came out. It was completely over the top. But back then I was too impressed with his speed to speed to notice that it really wasn't very melodic.

Several other guitarists played on
COTN
as well, most notably Robin Ford, Steve Farris (of Mr. Mister fame, does the great solo on the title track), and Bob Kulick. Vinnie does play on the bulk, however.

I concur. He was an underrated guitarist who was great on the Kiss records Creatures of the Night and Lick It Up, but he's the Lindsay Lohan of rock and roll.
Slipknot and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fan

I liked him in the greasepaint and on the
Creatures of the Night
tour. Not much after that.
