We usually reserve these birthday greetings for our favorite women (Rod can appreciate that!) but we're making one of our exceptions today for Mr. Stewart. We've loved his singing, his artistry, and his great recordings for decades now. We first became aware of him (and became fans) way back when he was with the Jeff Beck Group! And we bought
The Rod Stewart Album
when it was a new release! Since then he's entertained us so much and has been responsible for so much good music and so many good times that we're willing to understand if every record hasn't impressed us like
Every Picture Tells a Story
! You're an original, Rod the Mod! Continued good luck and success!

For some crazy bizzare reason, I always imagined Hermit C-2 as a malfunctioning robot that was stuck to an office chair looking like some horny R2D2 (You know, the whistling garbage can from the Star Wars movies) Anyone? ..Anyone? I haven't made a post in a while but when I stumbled upon Hermit C-2's unofficial obituary, on Rod Stewarts page, I just HAD to say something. RIP you crazy Birthday Wisher, may your wires and flailing robot hook arms be free.. Tiiiiime is oooooon your side!
P.S Happy Belated Birthday Rod Stewart, beep I'll be back in a about 4 months to wish you another happy birthday.. and then 12 months after that! Good god! I got the virus from Hermit C-2! I can't stop wishing birthday wishes!! haha

The poster Hermit C-2 is from the Atlanta Ga area.he died in 2006. I remember seeing somewhere here on IMDb about his death. It's on some weird back page.
The best person to ask any question like this is to the poster Act1 and everybody knows who he is

Did you guys read his post?
He was trying to get into IMDB's Top 100 posters, he was in it every year from 2000-2004 but missed the last year by 20 with 17,000 posts. He just posted those to get the most posts. He didn't care about posting anything else, just getting in the Top 100.
That was the only reason he posted here.
Now all I think about is him hitting 'post reply' and then toppling over onto the floor.
He died of a heart attack so it was sudden.
Oh and to the guy who said it was 1 year later, it's actually 2 years later. You forgot 2007.
Well now it's Jul so it's 2 years 7 months, 12 days, 14 hours 48 mins and 15 secs

I always wondered what the deal was with this guy. I run into his posts from time to time. The weird thing is, they're usually in abandoned forums for no-name actors.
I realize this post is more than 6 years old, but I just wanted to comment about this.
Why should there be a "deal" with this guy? I like wishing obscure actors a happy birthday too. I feel its sad that there are so many actors whose names most people will never know and I just like to wish those whose performances made me smile or laugh or cry or just feel happy. I know most of them will never read this, but I just feel like doing it. Not that I have anything against big-name actors either.
I only recently started wishing posting birthday messages on boards of obscure and well-known people and that's how I came across Hermit and only today learned he had died.
I don't know why people are giving him a hard time about posting birthday messages. I can't believe some of the silly posts I've read about the poor guy.
Anyway, 8 years later, R.I.P. Hermit.
