<p dir="auto">Thought David kind of stupid to try flying a German plane back home. It was dangerous and the Germans were in retreat; he should have surrendered and would have been liberated soon.</p>

<p dir="auto">I didn't love it because I don't like the cliche where Jack suddenly realizes that Mary is the girl for him after all, but I was surprised that the ending was so sad.  I did like the fact that they didn't stick on a happy ending.<br />

<p dir="auto">I loved the ending.  As much as it pained me to see David get shot down, it really brought home the message of the movie.  It may not have been a happy ending (like we're used to today) but it was definitely a good one.<br />
Mirror inspector is a job I could really see myself doing.</p>
