Major Spoiler
He sends the paperboy out for groceries & cigarettes & the boy comes back & tells him a guy at the deli said he thinks he knows him. The police captain then shows up at the room and tells him that he had a feeling that he (Louie) was somewhere nearby and the package of cigs the boy got him gave it away. The captain tells him what happened at the jail break and that his driver was dead. Louie tries to get the captain to help him but he says he can'the's taking his kids to the beach (referring back to an earlier scene in the film) and tells him he's just going to let Rocco's gang take care of him and save the tax payers money by avoiding a trial & leaves. Then a waiter shows up with a tray of food stating a bunch of guys sent him and to tell him it's his last meal. Louie tells him he's going out for dinner & the waiter leaves. Louie knows his destiny so he puts on his tie & hat, picks up a lit cigar that was included on the tray (referring back to the fact that Rocco knew his driver alerted him during the jail break by puffing on the cigar.) He looks at the Napoleon picture on the wall and walks out of the room. Then, the last page of Louie's biography pops up with gunfire in the back ground, basically stating that the young man was gunned down. Finis.
