Does anyone know who did the costume design here? I loved absolutely all the wardrobe! Loretta Young's white gown at the party was especially stunning.

If you look at the full cast and crew link, the costumes were by Edward Stevenson.

I agree partly, Loretta Young could really make anything look beautiful. But I thought the dress was great in its own also. I though Harlow's wardrobe was stunning too. Wish I could find the costume designer(s) to research more of their work.

In answer to your Q: No. The costumes that Harlow wore were amazing. The cream silk/satin dress with the dark (black?) panels was most beautiful and very contemporary. Young's white dress was beautiful, in part because she was beautiful and ethereal looking.
