This film was also shot with a happy ending. I did a brief web search but couldn't find it. Does anyone know where to find it?

It was recently shown with both endings at the Dryden Theater of the George Eastman House in Rochester N.Y.
It only differs by a few seconds at the very end, so no big deal, but we were told that the happy ending footage is very rare.

Maybe the powers that be decided to be considerate of Mr. Hemingway's novel by destroying all the copies of the happy ending version.
