In the scene where they're searching the vaults underneath the ruins, a creature that looks like a cross between a crab and a frog with bulging eyes noisily crawls across the floor. This thing totally creeps me out. I kept rewinding and pausing to try to figure out what it is. Really makes my flesh crawl, whatever it is!

I think it was some sort of mechanical critter that the prop department made for the movie. Either that or it was some sort of land crab that they grabbed for a brief walk-on role.

Heh, I'd totally forgotten about that part. When I read the title, I assumed you were talking about the possum they used for a rat. I remember the bug now though. Yeah, that was weird.
