Check out when the blonde woman jumps out the window towards the end of the movie. You want a hysterical laugh, still it and go frame-by-frame as she flies by the camera and falls to the ground.
That has to be the ugliest doll ever made for any Hollywood movie!
We were crying with laughter!!!

The screaming confession of the blonde at the end followed by the judge automatically reversing the guilty verdict of Bill Harper.
The reaction of the matron to the blonde throwing herself out of the window.

ALL of the the principal's testimony about the demeanor and attitude of William Hopper. "A time disassociation of ideas." Then he saw Bill miss tennis balls by three feet, which can be attributed to marijuana. He is so uptight and sanctimonious that everything he says is subject to derision.

Despite the fact that I'm pro-legalization and I smoke pot for 22+ years, I love this kind of "educational" films! "Tell Your Children" simply rules! I just love the serious style of the narrator (virtually all vintage educational films had these cloned narrators). I just love the 100000000% exaggeration and the fact that even the most ridiculous and insane lies were served as truths. Love them in every aspect. Why? Because watching this sh!t stoned oh man every minute of it was epic, LAUGH TILL DEATH! In fact MEGA-EPIC!

The best one was definitely about the boy killing his entire family with an ax I was just eating a sandwich and almost suffocated because of that story
But not far behind was the scene where the two cops were investigating the hit-and-run crime. It ends with the woman asking: "Tell me umm, did they was the person killed?" Cop: "Fortunately he wasn't, but that's still no excuse for hit-and-run driving".
So it would have been ok if he had died? ;D

Well, I've think everyone has missed the hilarious moment of the highest principles of American justice. The D. A. says the people will "waive trial" and just send the defendant to a place for the criminally insane for the rest of his life. And the defense attorney says he goes along with that.

That one made me laugh out loud.
I thought the opening letter was pretty funny too, talking about how marijuana makes a person hallucinate and prone to violence and hornyness.
I've never smoked dope, but as far as I can tell, it just makes you giggly and hungry, lol.
It does some other stuff too, but nothing like what this movie would lead one to believe.

I know it's been a while but I think when the kid offered to buy the other guy a soda he meant an ice cream soda, not a soda pop. I think the vernacular "soda pop" was used mostly to differentiate the two but it's used less often now since you can rarely find an ice cream soda nowadays. I hope that clears it up

As for funniest moment, everyone's pretty much spot on with what they've already said. My vote goes to either Ralph's incessant laughing/paranoia or to "Faster, faster!" Come to think of it, he was pretty much my favorite part of the movie altogether.

The one scene that I thought was funny, even though it puzzled me, was when one guy offers to buy another guy a soda pop. He answers "oh, no I don't go in for that, but I might let you buy me a root beer!
My only question is aren't soda pop and root beer the same thing? Also, why do they use the term soda pop as if there is only one kind? don't they have more then one flavor of pop in the '30's??

In that same scene, the woman runs down the hallway and dives at the window. When they pick up the shot from the other side, she's standing on the ledge with the broken window behind her then jumps. So that dive through the glass only landed her 6 inches away?
Some friends of mine got the rights to do a parody a few years ago and there's some clips posted on You Tube. They dubbed their own voices over the original soundtrack. It's pretty funny.
