I saw the Rifftrax Live presentation of this film, and during the second headlines sequence I think it was, it clearly used a spinning headline from one of the Dick Tracy serials. The headline itself is new, but an article naming the comic strip detective is right below it. I and about ten other people in my audience pointed it out.
Has anyone else noticed this? What serial chapter is it from? Thanks!

Hmmm just watched "RM" online with the window blown-up. I can just see where a Trigger Stark is mentioned in the article, which places this newspaper from somewhere during the serial "Dick Tracy Returns".
