Merle Oberon plays Josephine in Desiree and I recently took notice of something. There is a scene- a shot - in this movie that is almost the same shot, same costuming (white dress, tiara..etc) as in Desiree. The scene in WH where they are having the party/dance in the Linton Manor and the woman is playing the piano - they cut to Cathy as Heathcliff is staring at her.
In Desiree, she is Josephine- at a party and Desiree goes into one of the drawing rooms discovering Napoleon and Josephine - and the shot is almost identical. Amazingly she looks the same- though Desiree was filmed 15 years later.
Anyone else see both movies and take notice of this?
