<p dir="auto">He disagreed with Welles's intention and preferred interpretation, that doesn't mean its the only interpretation and so different ones are wrong.<br />
A lot of viewers would probably interpret Kane as indeed egomaniacal and yet still a decent guy, who did some or a lot of good even though not for good or the best reasons.</p>
