Seriously, no. They don't provide a clue. The guy running into the prop could have had someone else's clothes. I also wondered why they made such a point of that.</p>

<p dir="auto">I suspected this might be the case. Although I somehow got the impression that the two detectives didn't really want to believe Uncle Charlie was the murderer anyway, so any chance to pin it on the other guy (who perhaps had a criminal record anyway) would be welcome.</p>
