At the beginning of the Last of Sheila, when each of the characters is introduced, we see Richard Benjamin sitting in his den where he is supposed to be working, writing a script, or whatever. He is actually watching television. While we can't see the TV, we CAN hear what is on. It is The Mask of Dimitrios, wherein Peter Lorre is saying something like, 'he was my friend . . . ' That is the scene where Dimitrios gets the drop on Lorre and Sydney Greenstreet. At this momemt Benjamen's wife walks in and he turns off the TV to maintain the illusion that he is working. No big deal, but a nice touch by Sheila film makers.
