<p dir="auto">Was played by Victor Killian, who was uncredited. Kilian was in scores of Westerns during the 40s and 50s, including "The Ox-Bow Incident." He is probably best-known for his numerous roles as cranky but lovable old men on 1970s network television comedies and dramas. He is, however, probably best-known as Grandpa Larkin, the "Fernwood Flasher," on "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman."</p>

<p dir="auto">And BTW, Dillinger's dad and a couple of other family members did go on the road after Johnnie's death to talk about him and his life.</p>
