It's comical how they turn John Dillinger into a homicidal maniac. He stabs a guy with a busted beer mug in the face, he kills a guy with an axe, he shoots down a couple in cold-blood, he shoots a member of his gang in cold-blood. It's actually kind of funny knowing about the real Dillinger and watching this. I love the movie, but it never tries to be accurate. I love the movie Machine-Gun Kelly with Charles Bronson. But that's another movie inspired by a real gangster that never tries to be accurate.
