I was never that familiar with Maureen O'Hara (I remember that she sadly passed away last year aged 95), and I'd never seen Miracle on 34th Street before until a few days ago (being only 22 years old, I was more familiar with the 1994 version). The moment I saw her I was transfixed A truly beautiful woman.
I will be watching some of her other movies for sure.

This was also the first movie I saw her in (she's lovely in it), and my opinion of her was the same. I simply wanted to see more of Maureen. She was a real beauty and enormously talented.
You want something corny? You got it!

Yes-I always think her in black and white is a waste.

Check her out in Technicolor, especially The Black Swan and The Quiet Man.

Thanks for the tip. I'd already heard positive things about How Green Was My Valley from hearing about it on an episode of Frasier. I only discovered that Maureen O'Hara starred in it when I looked at her list of films on here. I'll make sure to watch it next.
