Why is there no showing of this holiday classic at all? Not even AMC is airing it or the inferior re-make.

I wonder if HBO somehow acquired the TV rights to it? I watched it the other day on HBO On Demand. I know AMC used to have a marathon of both this and the 1994 remake each Christmas.

I wondered about that too. I did see that it's showing on one of the pay channels. Sadly, I don't subscribe to HBO or any other pay channel. AMC and TCM used to show this classic every year. I really miss seeing it. I saw the remake once, and didn't like it at all. Is this movie on DVD? If so, I guess I'll have to buy it just to see it again.
