I love this film,I thought I knew it well but I thought at some point in the film Lee's character punches someone and says HE IS ANTI BRITISH SIR.
But I can't find it on the dvd?
Trevor Howard's character is Royal Armoured Corp,what regiment is Lee?

Not exactly, he tells Crabbin that Holly Martins sounds anti-British.
It happens when Holly is leaving the hotel and the conversation actually goes like this (or at lease this is how I remember it) -
Holly Martins - 'Did you read the Lone Rider of Santa Fe?'
Sgt Payne - 'No, not that one sir'
Holly Martins - 'It's about a guy who goes after a sheriff who is victimizing his best friend'.
'I'm gunning the same way for your Major Callaghan'
Sgt Payne (turning to Crabbin) 'Sounds anti-British sir'
