Question in Anna's apartment/room to the left of the door (viewer's perspective) there is a nook in the wall with what looks like a giant vase type thing. Hubby was driving me nuts about the thing. LOL
Any idea what it is? thanks

What? It's on Netflix? Streaming or the DVD by mail option? I actually own it in Blue Ray but right now there's a snag with either my player or smart TV switching sources. I could interrupt the Bogey movie I'm watching right now I guess. I'm just surprised that NF would have a film of this caliber. Most of their movies are crap.

The tall white thing with garlands and flowers? That's a ceramic stove in the baroque style. They are or used to be in many older city houses. Tiles are great for conserving heat, so you need only a little fuel to keep them going for hours. Their more modern looking descendant ("Kachelofen") is still popular in Austria and the neighbouring countries today.
