Throwing this out there for any other fans of this movie. It's my favorite version of the story and also my favorite Christmas movie. Channel 506 on my Xfinity. Starting Christmas Eve at 6pm Central. Last airing at midnight on the 26th.

For what it's worth, way back in the 50's & early 60's in New York City, the channel that broadcast "The Million Dollar Movie" would have a marathon showing of this version 24 hours a day for the entire Christmas season starting Dec. 24th until after New Years. You could watch it anytime day or night during that time. I remember my father watching it every chance he could as many times as he could. He absolutely loved this movie.
Back then, that movie was an integral part of our Christmas and it's been a Christmas Morning tradition for us, my kids, and grandson ever since they were old enough to watch. The biggest difference now is that we're not a slave to network scheduling or advertisements anymore thanks to the convenient DVD.

Unfortunately they are airing a horrible version. Both the audio and video quality are terrible.
We switched over to our dvd, the restored version, and the difference was remarkable.
There is no reason FXM should be showing such a poor version when better versions are available.
