<p dir="auto">I know it's not exactly the same, but there are elements of it that remind me of My Girl. Precocious little girl who doesn't fit in, hangs around mostly adults, little boy friend dies at the end, etc.</p>

<p dir="auto">I hadn't REALLY thought of it, I think I had kind of noticed it, and it does make sense, and it's funny because those are two of my favorite movies and it really does make sense because in the beginning, neither girl belongs, they don't fit in, and then at the end, they've changed (I don't think for the better), they've become more girly girls and suddenly, having lost their boy pals, they suddenly fit in with the girls more.</p>
