<p dir="auto">Goes largely unnoticed by most people, I expect, and yeah the choreography they gave him wasn't the most demanding, but I was impressed with Dan Dailey's dance routines in this.  He had a really nice way of moving for such a blokey bloke.<br />
You might very well think that.  I couldn't possibly comment.</p>

<p dir="auto">I saw Dan Dailey do some good comic dancing in My Blue Heaven recently. With his long legs he could possibly achieve effects that the more illustrious dancers could not.</p>

<p dir="auto">Daily was always a competent hoofer, but nobody was ever going to mistake him for Astaire or Kelly.  In fact, he's only the third best dancer in the primary cast.  The reason that O'Conner and Gaynor got better choreography was that they were capable of pulling it off.<br />
