<p dir="auto">This movie was released in 1956, long before Vicodin or Oxycodone, etc. But maybe the doctor could written a script for Quaaludes (still prescribed back then). Or Mason (Ed) could have written himself a more effective prescription than cortisone (only useful in limited doses and time  period). I was amazed the pharmacist just let Ed write himself a script. He even got "doctor's rates (price).</p>
