<p dir="auto">Did they ever give Lt. Jacoby's first name on the show or was he forever just cast as "Lieutenant" like G.W. Bailey's character was known through most of "The Closer."</p>

<p dir="auto">I was just wondering this myself - I love the character and the way he and Pete try to take care of each other, and Herschel Bernardi is wonderful in the role. It seems so sad that he never seems to have been given a full name.<br />
