Only after watching the last scene with the couple's photos, i realised that since the beginning it was the first time mme Carala and Tavernier were depicted together. It is trully an exceptional idea. She is really in love with him (although it may cross your mind at the beginning that she's trying to set him up), he also adores her, this love of theirs is the reason for all the plot, yet never are they seeing each other during the whole film. They only talk once at the opening scene still through telephone.

Very true. I think she makes reference to the headlines if they were caught for killing her husband as another way in which they will be together.
Why problem make? When you no problem have, you don't want to make

Ditto.
I was practically astounded by how much passion she was able to portray having never had an actual scene with him. Until I saw the pictures at the end I thought that they probably had never needed to meet while filming. Incredible. It did make me imagine how wonderful of a scene it would have been to have them finally come together.

I Know!
It would have been so poignant to have finally seen them together in the end.
