<p dir="auto">I like "The Definat Ones" alot more than "I'm a fugitive from a chain gang." "Chain gang" just didn't grab me like "Definat Ones" did. Also WTH was up with "Chain gang"'s abrupt ending??<br />

I disagree. I think it is pretty average when compared with the likes of I was a Fugitive from a Chain Gang and The Fugitive.<br />
It's precisely because you're comparing it with such films that it's "average".<br />
It's glaringly clear that the movie's message was totally lost on you, despite being blatantly obvious. They couldn't have delinated it in more digestable terms.<br />
