Somehow this movie always reminds me of the looney tunes cartoon called Hot Crossed Bunny where a French Doctor (who bears a superficial resembles to the doctor in the movie) tries to switch Bugs Bunny's mind with a Chicken.

Yes, yes! I immediately made the same connection to the Bugs Bunny cartoon. I went on IMDB just to figure it out which came first but the cartoon was made
before
the film. Bizarre
