I remember watching a movie, more than 20 years ago, about a warrior of some sort, a prince, or a king maybe, who engages in a fight with a rival, evil sovereign and gets deceitfully beat. But the evil guy doesn't stop at that and burns his face with a torch while he is lying helpless on the ground. The guy doesn't die and gets rescued by a woman and an elderly man who tend to his wounded face and, when he awakes and discovers his disfigurement, goes crazy. He then goes on a rampage, finding and killing many man who he believed connected with the evil man who disfigured him and using his face to scare off his enemies before killing them, by simply taking off the mask he was wearing and insanely laughing at them (quite beep up to watch). If I remember correctly, he finally finds the man and kills him, only to be killed himself by an arrow.
Anyone knows what I'm talking about? Any help is gratefully welcome!

Thanks for your tip Egghead. I checked it out and unfortunately it isn't "The Oblong Box" the one I'm looking for. Sounds like a good movie though, I'm going to watch it!
The one I saw had a plot much more similar to Sam Raimi's "Darkman", only set in medieval times. I think, at least, it was medieval times, because they were riding horses and wearing tunics and stuff like that.
I remember one scene in particualr, the one where you see for the first time his disfigured face. That's when he actually learns he's been burned. he's in a cave, where an old man and a lady have been taking care of him and tending his wounds, and he realizes, when he wakes up, that he's wearing bandages over his face. So he takes off the bandages and goes to this water well and looks at his reflection in the water, then he turns to the camera screaming!! I believe I shat my pants right there, as I was about six or seven at the time!
I've been searching now for years and I still can't find it!! Damn
