Kate Oates took the guy who played Connor Jensen on Emmerdale who was gay and a former flame of Robert Sugden and gave him a role on Coronation Street. Anyone know is Rob Mallard character Daniel on Corrie gay or straight? He is really cute!!

He's 21. If he's straight I think Alya is the closest match as she's his intellectual equal and not much older. If he's gay then maybe Todd (but he's currently with Billy).
