I actually quite liked him and as I don't read tabloids and avoid spoilers, his death came as a total surprise to me.

When Pat kinda killed Michael and left his flabby tummy was hilarious.

Actually very true, not his fault that fat Michael is so unhealthy. I mean we didn't exactly see him eating salads and hitting the gym in the final weeks leading up to his death. And its not Phelans fault that he cowers so easily.

Haven't watched it yet, but if what has been described on here is accurate in that Phelan knew he was having a heart attack and did nothing or didn't alert anybody else to assist him then he effectively killed him. He may not have actually 'murdered' him, but he as good as killed him.

Anna's whole plan was stupid to begin with. Phelan had locked the place up anyways and was ready to go home to Eileen for his supper, why couldn't Michael just break in then rather than have Anna distract him for a while? neither are the smartest bunch. oh well a double delight seeing Phelan laying into Anna with all his classic insults

People like Michael and Anna, take it upon themselves to poke their noses into Phlean's business, then are surprised when he gets angry? they should keep out of it. Having seen two family members die of heart attackz. it was awful to see Michael struggle like that. He didn't deserve it. He was only trying to help the people he cares about

I wish they hadn't killed Micharl off. I know Les Dennis was leaving but no need to kill him. I'm not a big fsn of Michael's but the Platt's have had enough death and tragedy this year

meh. after weeks of annoying us it was certainly a delight for me to watch him struggle. wish it had lasted longer and was more painful
I hope it takes a while for them to find the body. better yet Phelan could just discard of it and no one will ever know that hes dead
