Care to expand on how it’s, “a bit more than just a court room drama?”
Fuck the IMDb rankings.
Those are done by regular folks who watched the movie.
I could make a movie showing my toe nails growing and it could get a 10.

I enjoyed watching
Inherit the Wind
(1960), a couple years ago. It is really a bit more than just a court room drama.
It gets an 8.1 ranking on IMDB.

Good list. I've seen a number of those. Some other courtroom drama films you might want to consider:
Philadelphia
(1993)
Primal Fear
(1996)
Crime Without Passion
(1934)
Criminal Lawyer
(1937)

There are better and more entertaining court room dramas
Personally, I'm partial to the courtroom drama in
A Few Good Men
, with the catchy line: "You can't
handle
the truth!"
Followed closely by
And Justice for All
with: "You're out of order! The whole trial is out of order!"

They say it gives a nod to McCarthyism.
I suppose so with the easily brainwashed crowd out for blood.
Frankly they were the only interesting thing about this movie.
Liked seeing Vinny and Civil Action on your list.
One of the few court cases where he loses in a movie where they usually win.
What a contrast from the big office of the team of lawyers to the small one where it’s just himself towards the end and he’s in bankruptcy court.
Liar Liar is a lot of fun!
And speaking of Jim Carrey here is another thing for your things to hate in movies lists:
When someone “returns” or plays a doppelgänger of someone else everyone is fooled and no one recognizes the double as having a different voice or they somehow have the same voice and we are supposed to believe that?
As seen in:
The Majestic starring Carrey who ends up in a small town where everyone thinks he’s a returning missing favorite son.
Ocean’s 12 where Julia Roberts plays someone else who looks like her for a con and also happens to sound like her?
