March and Tracy carry this excellent screenplay to the highest place. Their duel portrayals rank with Hoffman and Voight
(Midnight Cowboy) for greatest combo. Basically a filmed play but done so well that the absence of "film elements" does not hinder the movie. BTW the best of the "filmed plays".
