<p dir="auto">Screw that feel good sappy hollywood crap ending!<br />
This would have made it much better -<br />
When he tosses the ring, the cab door closes, she looks down and smiles.<br />
Cut to a Pawn Shop where she cheerfully gets cash for the ring.<br />
She exits the pawn shop, walks past a Chinese restaurant where the live cat is hanging in the window - she keeps walking, smiling, counting here cash.<br />
Final scene, a Chinaman (Micky Rooney or not) chops the head off the cat.<br />
Quick fade to BLACK</p>
