<p dir="auto">If Bert really thought he was Eddie's manager at the end of the movie, then why would he let two of his stake horses play against each other?<br />
It would not have mattered who won the game, Bert was going to pay out a lot of money either way.<br />
Sometimes when you want the devil, you have to go to hell and get him!</p>
