Was the song at the end of the movie sung by Tom Jones. It sure sounds like Tom Jones.

The vinyl LP is very rare, but I seem to remember that the soundtrack was put onto a CD along with Irma La Douce, an odd pairing if ever there was one.

Yes. The CD is pretty rare, but you can probably find the original vinyl album anyplace that sells used records.
