I was always amazed at how much stuff they wrecked on that show. Including the stuff you mentioned Herman often wrecked the mantel over the fireplace, the sofa, and the griffins on the staircase newel posts. They must have had a big supply of set pieces that they could frequently wreck.

Not to mention all those doors and walls that get destroyed when Herman breaks through them. He seemed to do that every week in the opening credits!
