I know I'm in the minority, but I didn't think they resembled each other at all. I personally preferred Beverley in the role. I thought she looked more like Marilyn Monroe and was a better actress. I was sorry to see her replaced (just like with Darrin Stephens).

Pat Priest was quoted as saying she got the role because she was blonde and fit into the same costumes. I can't pick a favorite, both were fine in the role, both were beautiful.
