There's a scene about halfway through where MacDougall (Torin Thatcher) is looking at a large plan of the Seaview on the wall. There a date on it that I couldn't make out on my TV (it's 1970-something) and I'd be interested if anyone can read it on the DVD. One of the bizarre aspects of the show is that the year the show takes place in ranges from the mid 1970's to the mid 1980's. (Maybe the Seaview also operates as a time machine?) I'm a nerd for details like this.
Incidentally, that plan is not representative of the Seaview (outside of the basic shape of the sub, especially the funky shape of its nose). The interior plan shows a hallway that runs down the starboard side along the length of the ship, whereas the interior sets were built with rooms on either side of the passageway. And the diagram of the front windows is completely wrong.
Keeping people straight since 1958. No need to thank me - I already know you are grateful.
