It`s cut up of course. After downloading an uncut copy I viewed 2 scenes that I had never seen before even decades ago when I first saw it on WNEW Channel 5 out of NYC.

Just watch the uncut version on DVD instead.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

AMC doesn't have the balls to use the word balls!
Cats are delicate dainty animals who suffer from a variety of ailments except insomnia.

Good question, I wish it was on TMC, or that AMC would get the balls to show uncut movies in late night - why don't they? It's a cable channel, and TMC doesn't cut anything shown at anytime - I've seen plenty of nudity and violence over there.

WNEW Channel 5 out of NYC.
That's where I saw it for the first time, as well. It was either the late 70s or early 80s.
I just watched this again recently and it really is a gory movie for its time. There is no way AMC or WNEW back in the day could have televised this movie uncut. One really disgusting sequence is when the doctor digs into the hero's shin with a knife to remove some of the flesh eaters.
